Bureau of Internal Revenue of Ormoc City sponsored a Taxation Quiz Bowl participated by SPC and WLC at 3rd floor, OCCCI building last July 20, 3:00 pm.
Assistant Revenue District Officer, Medirico Villablanca said, that the Local Taxation Quiz Bowl was for the preparation of the upcoming Regional Taxation Quiz Bowl. He added, they were inviting different schools, but only two schools granted their invitation; Saint Peter’s College with seven contestants, and Western Leyte College with five contestants.
The winners were Glory Joy Hibaya-1st Place, WLC; Nadia Marquez-2nd Place, WLC; Danilita Calixtro- 3rd Place, WLC; and 4th placers were Irich Otadoy, WLC; Michael Lagahit, SPC; Paul Vincent Cantero.
Winners were given Certificates and cash prizes during the awarding at the Local Government Office a day after the event.
